my name is demetria, and i'm a CARBAHOLIC. .

yes. it's true. i love carbs. i mean. . REALLY, REALLY love them. i eat other things to, but love breads, pasta, and even starchy veggies. i didn't think it would be a problem, but turns out it could be. my doctor wants me to eat less carbs to bring some numbers down. i'm on day three, and i feel like i'm failing miserably. i mean, REALLY! pretty much all processed foods are carb~loaded. i really need some help w/suggestions. . . especially in the breakfast foods department. i need fast, people. i'm a chronically late person who doesn't have lots of time for breakfast. do you have any suggestions.

BY THE WAY> > > > i LOVE to HAVE comments on my blog. thats a problem, however, since only 3 other people know that i've started a new one. we'll see......

Currently, I am eating ranch dressing (only 1 carb for about 2 Tbs.) that's a healthy snack with carrots and celery; however, I am not eating it with carrots or celery. For breakfast, I love eating organic yogurt with fruit (peaches, strawberries, or blueberries) you can add a little granola if you need some crunch. When you buy granola make sure you check the amount of sugar, it's suppose to be healthy but some brands add a LOT of sugar. Another thing would be an egg, they don't take long to cook and it's high in protein!
That's all I have for now. Hope it helps!

Egg whites and steamed veggies. 3 egg whites equal one egg (in calories)I throw in a bag of veggies in the microwave and spoon in as many as I like for that morning and keep the rest in the frig. Scrambled eggs are preety quick :)

Oh and I just wrote a post welcoming you back! (HUGS)

i'm on the weight watchers diet. i LOVE this plan...and i know a tON of people who have lost weight. you can join an be an online only member. i can update and calculate points from my phone. the cool thing is...it lets you still eat whatever you want, you just have a certain number of points, AND you do get room to mess up by having a weekly allotment of points, AND you can add points back in by exercising. it's like a game to me! :)
also, fruits and veggies are ZERO points, so you can eat as many as you want.
just a thought if you are looking for balance in your diet. :)

Cheese cubes. Boiled eggs kept in fridge. Eat cold or warm up by rinsing in hot water.
